In brief: your guests always ask the same question, before and during their stay: what is there to do around here? The LoveQR widget answers for you. It displays on your site the places, public posts, points of interest and events around your property, within up to 5 km, and in the language of the page your visitor is reading. Embedding takes one line of code.
The problem with “things to do in the area” pages
Every property has one: a list of activities written once, updated once a year at best. It ages quickly, it ignores what is happening this weekend, and it never speaks everyone's language.
Meanwhile, the same question comes back to reception ten times a day, and your guests end up searching elsewhere. A block showing the real news of the area solves both problems at once: it stays up to date by itself, and it keeps visitors on your site rather than on a search engine.

For accommodation, “Around this place” is almost always the right choice on public pages. “Full LoveQR” is better suited to a dedicated page, or to a lobby screen.
Your foreign guests read in their own language
This is what matters most in hospitality. The widget interface and all detail cards (activities, events, places, points of interest) are translated into the 11 LoveQR languages:

The widget automatically follows the language of the page hosting it, by reading your site's lang attribute. If your site exists in four languages, the same code pasted on all four versions will display correctly everywhere. A language can also be forced with the dedicated parameter.
Setup in three choices
- The centre point: the name of your property, its coordinates, or the option that requests the visitor's position instead of a fixed point.
- The theme: normal, dark or light, to match your site.
- The format: single and responsive. The widget takes the width of its container, with no extra setting.
The generator shows a live preview, then produces the code to copy, as an iframe or as a script. It looks like this:

The exact code, with your property's coordinates and your theme, is generated on the API and widgets page. Paste it where you want in your page, like an embedded map or video.
Where to place it on your site
On the “Discover the area” page
Replace the static list with the widget centred on your address. The page that aged fastest becomes the liveliest.
On the home page, further down
An “Around us, right now” block reassures visitors before booking: they see they won't be isolated, and that the area is lively.
On a guests-only page
A “Your stay” page, whose address is on the room card, with the widget set to the visitor's position for their excursions.
As a complement, outside the site
Your own LoveQR displayed at reception or on the room card: guests scan it, discover what surrounds them, and can leave their favourite spots for the next guests.
By type of accommodation
Privacy and content
- Only public data is displayed. No intimate profile, no exact position of any person.
- Public content is visible without an account. Your visitors have nothing to create to view the widget.
- Posting, commenting or sharing presence requires signing in, which naturally limits abuse.
- Anything published from a widget joins the LoveQR network, so it also becomes visible in the area's AR view.
- No tracking cookies and no third-party analytics in the widget.
Intimate profiles remain reserved for members with an active subscription, and never appear in a widget.
Worth knowing before installing. The widget shows what exists around you. If your region still has few members, it will mostly show places and points of interest, with few posts. In that case, the right approach is to get things going yourself: publish your own events and favourite spots, and display your LoveQR at reception so your guests feed the area. Venue widgets are, moreover, reserved for professionals who have claimed their property.
